About us

…and all about that base

Female Music Force features woman DJs and musicians to push the stats and we get your party dancing. We take great pride in ensuring that we meet your musical desires and play your all-time favs - it’s your party!

We also offer lessons. So unleash your inner DJ: You can book introductory or advanced DJ courses with us in Berlin for you or as a gift for others. We are planning a club night in Berlin and meet-ups for female DJs and musicians.

Why Female Music Force? Today, less than 10% of DJ gigs are played by women. There are no reasons at all for not booking more women as DJs and musicians. Our vision is that 50% of gigs are played by women, changing the scene one party at a time. Let’s get the girls on stage!

Linda Broschkowski Linda Broschkowski is the founder and Chief Musical Officer of Female Music Force. Linda started off as one of the first female DJs in Berlin twenty years ago – from wild Madonna parties in backyard clubs, to birthdays and weddings, fashion shows and film production parties with the likes of Tarantino, she was playing party music and those guilty pleasures, while Berlin was at the height of the techno craze. Now Linda is in the process of founding Female Music Force. Her purpose is twofold: to connect female DJs and musicians with those who organize events and parties for companies and private purposes; and to empower women in music.

Anat Gilad Music … has always guided me throughout my life. It is with great devotion and motivation that I call myself a DJ. Since I started in 2004 and til this day I am proud to be a music chameleon which is able to offer a wide range of musical genres to my clients in weddings, birthday parties, company events or in clubs around Berlin. I am looking forward to building a colourful mix of music especially for you. Any musical direction or genre is available. I stay discreetly in the background and am there when needed. If it's your wedding, Birthday Party or Company Event, with me you'll get a top-service! My top dance floor filler song are Bomfunk Mc's - Freestyler. It reminds me and most of my audience “the good old days” of being 14 years old and thinking Break-Dancing and having dreads is the coolest thing ever. It always gets the younger guys going which usually also pulls the older crowd into the dance floor. Earth, Wind & Fire - September. Young or old, it does not matter with this funky hit. People heard it about a million times in the radio by this point and go nuts for it on the dance floor everytime. Michael Jackson - Black Or White. A hugeeeee hit back then and still a banger these days. An Iconic sound (listen to those guitar strings go!) which shaped 90’s pop music forever. My personal guilty pleasure is: Vengaboys - Boom, Boom, Boom, Boom. I’m not proud of it, but this song is just too good to resist. It’s just so happy and silly, it makes me and my audience usually very euphoric when I put it on. I am a 90’s kid and can not be happier when ever I get the chance to play a bit of 90’s music!

Linh Chi Nguyen Music is. ...a feeling, a moment, a way to express your feelings without words. There will be always one song what can describe your mood without saying and just listening. My top dance floor filler songs are ... Happy - Pharell Williams, Tainted Love - Soft Cell, everything from the Backstreet Boys My personal guilty pleasure is .... Careless whisper - George Michael (I love the introduction so much). I got introduced to djing in 2017, when I met Linda. We used to be colleagues and worked together in a music company. At the beginning I went with her together and we played gigs together (several corporate events). Soon I had my first gig alone in summer 2018 on a wedding in Berlin. Since then I play on private and corporate events. I studied economics and music and played the piano for a couple years. Music has always been important to me and is still a main role in my life. I'm very happy to get the chance playing music at events because music is influencing a lot about the vibe and mood on people. I like to play songs people can relate to: people sing to it, feeling rhythm, or when a throwback song is coming the people instantly getting the vibe from back then and old memories are coming back. 90's, 2000's and current charts is my thing.

DJ hellgA Music was my first love... Music is my religion. Dancing is praying with your feet. As a DJ I have a mission: I want to see every single person dance. Someone once said to me: „You even make those people dance who don’t want to dance at all. “ When I see everyone having fun on the dance floor, I am happy. Music is my tool for this mission. My top dance floor filler songs are .. It always depends on the event and the crowd. I see myself as a service provider and a good service means to look out for what the crowd wants. Fortunately there are so many good dance floor fillers. My personal guilty pleasure is … “I’ve had the time of my life“ played right in time makes everybody dance and sing from the bottom of their hearts. I love it. Have you ever seen people in their finest evening wardrobe at a 5 Star hotel banging to „Killing in the name of“ by Rage Against The Machine? What a divine sight! I must admit that I bought a fog machine from my first DJ payment. I guess that's my most personal guilty pleasure. This machine brings magic to the dance floor. Must be made by the gods of party. hellgA started her mission in her hometown Berlin at private parties, dancing in front of the CD players and quickly found herself spreading her message on weddings, birthdays, companie parties and awards all over Germany. At the famous dancing hall Clärchen's Ballhaus in the heart of Berlin she worked on her skills of sending her message to a crowd aged from 18 to 80: Let's dance!

About the founder

A born Berliner, Linda grew up in Malaysia,Pakistan and India. She came back to Berlin in the Mid-1990s and quickly and naturally gravitated to DJing and music. Already as a girl in elementary school she was in charge of the tape recorder at home and at class parties. Music has been an important part of her life ever since.

Linda started off as one of the first female DJs in Berlin twenty years ago – from wild Madonna parties in backyard clubs, to birthdays and weddings, fashion shows and film production parties (e.g. for Tarantino), she was playing party music and those guilty pleasures, while Berlin was at the height of the techno craze. At the same time, Linda was working in film, overseeing parts of the production of Hollywood movies with the likes of Kevin Spacey. She was also running her own film production company, which won a PR Report Award in 2015. “A few years ago, I hit rock bottom, both in my professional and in my private life.” Getting back on her feet again, Linda decided to be “sensible” and accepted a “real” office job, reducing the number of gigs she was playing. And still, after years of hiding, with no website, no card or social media promotion, people got in touch.

“The feedback I often get is that it is really hard to find DJs who play my kind of music. I also noticed how few female DJs are out there – Both of these I would like to change.“ So Linda founded Female Music Force. Her purpose is twofold: to connect female DJs and musicians with those who organize events and parties for companies and private purposes; and to take a deeper look into what female DJs need and want out there on the market.

“Looking further into the future, my dream is to combine my two passions, film and music. I’d love to produce and direct a film about female DJs, documenting their journeys and encouraging others to pursue their dreams.“
