Linda Barutzki, a born Berliner, grew up in Malaysia, Pakistan, and India. In the mid-1990s, after completing her Abitur, she returned to Berlin and was quickly drawn to DJing and music. This was no surprise, as even as a primary school student, she was responsible for the cassette recorder at class parties.
As one of the first female DJs in Berlin, Linda began her career thirty years ago, playing wild Madonna parties in backyard clubs, birthdays and weddings, fashion shows, and film production parties (such as for Tarantino), even though Berlin was at the peak of the techno craze.
At the same time, Linda worked in the film business and managed parts of the production of Hollywood films with big names like Kevin Spacey, Kate Bosworth, and Charlize Theron. Later, she founded her own film production company, which was awarded a PR Report Award in 2015.
After a difficult period in her life, both personally and professionally, Linda decided to be "sensible" and take on a "proper" office job, which led to her having fewer gigs. Nevertheless, she continued to receive calls and emails, as it was not easy to find female DJs for events and parties.
Linda initially founded Female Music Force as an agency with female DJs. But soon she realized that it was not enough to just book these DJs, but that it was mainly about their visibility and telling more of their stories. There is still the narrative around that there are only a few female DJs, but that is nonsense because they are there, and they are loud, and they are becoming more visible. Linda doesn't want to just focus on the underrepresentation of women, but rather highlight the many incredible female-identifying DJs and tell their diverse stories. She wants to create a space where women can be recognized and appreciated for their skills and contributions. With Female Music Force, Linda aims to present the diverse stories and experiences of female DJs and inspire the next generation of female talent to pursue their dreams and strive for a career in the industry.
In addition to her work at Female Music Force, Linda is also the mother of two teenagers and says that work-in-progress is her new perfect. And with music, everything is easier!

Linda Barutzki, gebürtige Berlinerin, wuchs in Malaysia, Pakistan und Indien auf. Mitte der 1990er Jahre kam sie nach dem Abitur nach Berlin zurück und fühlte sich schnell von DJing und Musik angezogen. Vollkommen klar, denn schon als Grundschülerin war sie für den Kassettenrecorder auf Klassenpartys verantwortlich.
Als eine der ersten weiblichen DJs in Berlin begann Linda vor dreißig Jahren ihre Karriere und spielte wilde Madonna-Partys in Hinterhofclubs, Geburtstage und Hochzeiten sowie Fashionshows und Filmproduktionspartys (z.B. für Tarantino), obwohl Berlin auf dem Höhepunkt des Technowahns war.
Zur gleichen Zeit war Linda im Filmbusiness tätig und betreute Teile der Produktion von Hollywood-Filmen mit Größen wie Kevin Spacey, Kate Bosworth und Charlize Theron. Später gründete sie ihre eigene Filmproduktionsfirma, die 2015 mit einem PR-Report-Award ausgezeichnet wurde.
Nach einer schwierigen Phase in ihrem Leben, sowohl privat als auch beruflich, entschied sich Linda dazu, "vernünftig" zu sein und einen "richtigen" Bürojob anzunehmen, was dazu führte, dass sie weniger Gigs hatte. Dennoch erhielt sie weiterhin Anrufe und E-Mails, da es nicht einfach war, weibliche DJs für Events und Partys zu finden.
Linda gründete zunächst Female Music Force als Agentur mit weiblichen DJs. Doch bald erkannte sie, dass es nicht ausreicht, diese DJs zu buchen, sondern es geht vor allem um ihre Sichtbarkeit und darum, mehr von ihnen zu erzählen. Immer noch gibt es die Geschichte, dass es nur wenige weibliche DJs gibt. Das ist jedoch Unsinn, denn sie sind da, und sie sind laut, und sie werden immer sichtbarer. Linda will sich nicht nur auf die Unterrepräsentation von Frauen konzentrieren, sondern vor allem die vielen unglaublichen weiblich-identifizierenden DJs hervorheben und ihre diversen Geschichten erzählen. Sie möchte einen Raum schaffen, in dem Frauen für ihre Fähigkeiten und Beiträge anerkannt und geschätzt werden können. Mit Female Music Force setzt sich Linda zum Ziel, die vielfältigen Geschichten und Erfahrungen weiblicher DJs zu präsentieren und damit die nächste Generation weiblicher Talente zu inspirieren, ihren Träumen zu folgen und eine Karriere in der Branche anzustreben.
Neben ihrer Arbeit bei Female Music Force ist Linda auch Mutter von zwei Teenagern und sagt, dass Work-in-progress ihr neues Perfekt ist. Und mit Musik geht alles leichter!
